It starts with one engaged community that can truly demonstrate the effect of our mission at Kinsa. Smithville Primary Elementary School in the Kansas City, MO metro area is receiving attention from local media for the significant impact the FLUency program is having on the community. With 70% (and rising) engagement from families, the school is seeing massive levels of communication between parents and administration about what's going around the school through the Kinsa app. It's easy to see the long-term effect this sort of information can have, from a reduction in the number of absences and frequency of visits to the nurse during valuable learning time, to faster containment of illnesses when they hit the school .
Smithville and other communities in Missouri are leading the charge in demonstrating how effective connected technology can be in keeping families healthy and informed. We look forward to seeing how this effect will continue to spread across the country.
